Resurgam was founded in 2003 by Mark Duley, and is one of Ireland’s most acclaimed vocal ensembles, specialising in music of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Resurgam aims to make Galway the home of early music in Ireland. The public funding that Resurgam and Galway Early Music Festival (GEMF) receive annually does not cover the events that they present and, as Resurgam heads into the autumn, we are hoping to raise some much-needed funds via a new Friends Scheme ResurgAmbassadors in the hope that we can deliver our full programme for 2026.

ResurgAmbassadors invites donations of the following amounts or any other amount that you may be able to give:

Ambassador - €75

• Two free tickets and reserved seating for one (1) Resurgam concert per annum (excluding Galway Messiah).

• Names of Ambassadors listed in concert programmes (unless anonymity is requested).

• Complimentary programmes at concerts.

• Invitations to any receptions, launches, meet and greet with performers, etc.

• Newsletters.
   

Bronze Ambassador - €250

• Two free tickets and reserved seating for two (2) Resurgam concerts per annum (excluding Galway Messiah).

• Priority booking and reserved seating for Galway Messiah.

• All other Ambassador benefits.
   

Silver Ambassador - €500

• Two free tickets and reserved seating for two (2) Resurgam concerts per annum (see below re: Galway Messiah).

• Two free tickets and reserved seating for Galway Messiah OR two free season tickets and reserved seating for all events at Galway Early Music Festival.

• Whichever of the above two options is chosen, priority booking and reserved seating for the other option will be available.

• All other Ambassador benefits.
   

Gold Ambassador - €1,000

• Two free tickets and reserved seating for all concerts in Resurgam’s annual programme (including Galway Messiah).

• Two free season tickets and reserved seating for all events at Galway Early Music Festival.

• All other Ambassador benefits.
