Resurgam was founded in 2003 by Mark Duley, and is one of Ireland’s most acclaimed vocal ensembles, specialising in music of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.  Resurgam aims to make Galway the home of early music in Ireland.  The public funding that Resurgam and Galway Early Music Festival (GEMF) receive annually does not cover the events that they present and, as Resurgam heads into the autumn, we are hoping to raise some much-needed funds via a new Friends' Scheme ResurgAmbassadors in the hope that we can deliver our full programme for 2026.

Resurgam's new Friends' Scheme invites donations of the following amounts or any other amount that you may be able to give:

Ambassador - €75

Bronze Ambassador - €250

Silver Ambassador - €500

Gold Ambassador - €1,000
